Adam Baxter
The analysis and philosophy of an anarcho-capitalist I greatly look forward to studying with next year.
Charlie Brooker
This Guardian columnist’s witty but pointed diatribes of ‘Newswipe’ got my attention a few years ago . In particular some of his criticisms of the media response to the G8 protests and to ‘public outcry’ stories in general.
Derren Brown
Asides from his incomparable entertainment, Derren Brown’s passion for rationality, atheism and good science make up the bulk of his blog posts, though a large extent of it is aggregated content.
Watchusay
Tumblr’s are something quite new, a mix between a blog and a social stream (Facebook links, twitter posts sort of thing) This one is posted to by a friend of mine and is my pick of the crop.
Lifehacker
I have found quite a few interesting programs or tools through this blog. Along with funny bits of information such as putting sellotape on frosted glass to make it clear or new ‘beta’ services on google I wouldn’t have heard about otherwise.
Interesting Websites
PHD and XKCD comics
Variable as the site may be, the many contributors to Cracked still produce some absolute gems.
http://toryornot.com/ created by another PPEist, to see how good people are at spotting the typical Conservative MP. (I think I’m ranked 2nd in the league table actually)
http://sexymp.co.uk another fun such politics website, which the DUP score very poorly in, teehee.
